Learn how to set up your account and create your first event in minutes

What is EventNerds?

EventNerds is a platform that helps you create and manage events. You can sell tickets, check in attendees, manage speakers, and track everything that happens at your event.

EventNerds is built for developers. This means you can use our tools directly in the app, or you can build your own website and use our API to connect to EventNerds.

Creating your account

To start using EventNerds, you will need to create an account. Here is how:

  1. Go to the EventNerds homepage
  2. Click on the "Get Started Free" button
  3. Enter your email address and create a password
  4. Click "Sign Up"
  5. Check your email for a confirmation link
  6. Click the link in the email to confirm your account

Tip: Use a work email address so your team members can find your organization later.

Setting up your organization

After you create your account, you will need to set up your organization. Your organization is the company or group that runs your events.

  1. Enter your organization name
  2. Add your organization details (optional)
  3. Upload your logo (optional)
  4. Click "Continue"

You can change these details later in your organization settings.

Creating your first event

Now you are ready to create your first event! Follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Events" in the main menu
  2. Click the "Create Event" button
  3. Enter your event name (for example, "Tech Conference 2025")
  4. Choose your event dates (start date and end date)
  5. Add your event location
  6. Write a description of your event
  7. Click "Create Event"

Congratulations! You just created your first event. Now you can add tickets, speakers, and more.

Create ticket types so people can register for your event. You can make tickets free or paid.

Understanding plans

EventNerds offers different plans based on your needs:

  • Free Plan: Perfect for testing EventNerds. You can create 1 free event with up to 100 attendees.
  • Starter Plan ($49/month): Great for small events. You can create 5 events with up to 1,000 attendees per month.
  • Pro Plan ($149/month): Perfect for regular event organizers. Create unlimited events with up to 5,000 attendees per month.
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing for large organizations with special needs.

Note: Starter and Pro plans also charge 0.5% of your ticket revenue. This means if you sell $10,000 in tickets, you pay an extra $50 that month.
